Your Alarm.com accounts,
our central station.

Uniguard Pro is an Alarm.com monitoring station for alarm dealers. Switch your existing Alarm.com dealer accounts to us — signals route through Alarm.com straight to our trained monitoring agents, 24/7. (Alarm.com is sold through dealers, not direct to consumers.)

How it works

Three steps from Alarm.com signal to dispatched agent

  1. Register Uniguard Pro inside Alarm.com

Your installer adds Uniguard Pro as the monitoring station on your Alarm.com dealer account. Nothing changes on the panel — Alarm.com keeps handling the panel-side wiring, signal cleanup, and connectivity, and just hands the events off to us instead of your old central station.

  2. We receive every signal over SIA DC-09

Alarm.com pushes alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals to our receivers using the standard SIA DC-09 protocol over TLS. Every signal is matched to the right customer account on arrival and routed to the operator queue with all the context already attached.

  3. Uniguard Pro agents act in seconds

Our trained monitoring agents see new events the instant Alarm.com delivers them. They follow the customer's call list and dispatch policy — acknowledge, contact, dispatch — without leaving the live queue.

What you get with every Alarm.com monitoring subscription

One subscription, one team. Receiver capacity, operator console, the full audit trail — included. No surprise add-ons once accounts are routed to us.

  • Drop-in central-station replacement

Any Alarm.com dealer can switch their monitoring station to Uniguard Pro in minutes. Panels stay where they are, accounts stay where they are; only the dispatch destination changes.

  • TLS-only SIA DC-09 ingestion

Every signal arrives encrypted in transit from Alarm.com. Per-account hex keys add a second layer of authentication on top of the TLS handshake — and signals are matched to your account before they enter the operator queue.

  • Sub-second acknowledgement

We acknowledge SIA DC-09 signals from Alarm.com in under a second under normal load. Alarm.com's retry buffer never fills, which means a panic-button signal doesn't time out waiting on us.

  • Pairs with UniFi Protect Dispatch + Video Monitoring

Already running UniFi Protect cameras? Add UniFi Protect Dispatch and Video Monitoring to the same Uniguard Pro account and your Alarm.com panel signals, UniFi alarm-fires, and AI-flagged camera events all land on the same operator screen as one incident timeline.

  • Operator console included

Every Alarm.com monitoring subscription includes the full Uniguard Pro operator console — live queue, severity, mapped sites, structured workflow. No per-seat licensing.

  • Full audit trail

Every signal received from Alarm.com, every operator action, every dispatch — logged with timestamps and the responsible user. Exportable for compliance reviews or insurance claims.

The hybrid pitch

Alarm.com + UniFi Protect = the best-of-both setup

Most dealers we talk to already run Alarm.com panels for some customers and UniFi Protect cameras for others. With Uniguard Pro you can run both under one roof — and pair them on the same site when a customer has both.

Alarm.com gives you the panel-side signal authority. UniFi Protect Dispatch adds camera-side alarm response, and UniFi Protect Video Monitoring puts trained operator eyes on AI-flagged camera events in between. All three land on the same operator screen, on the same site timeline.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I have to use Alarm.com to use Uniguard Pro for alarm monitoring?
For alarm-panel monitoring today, yes — Uniguard Pro receives SIA DC-09 signals through Alarm.com as your central station. If you're already an Alarm.com dealer or your customer's panel is on Alarm.com, you're set. If you want video monitoring only (no alarm panel), you can use UniFi Protect with Uniguard Pro on its own — no Alarm.com needed.
  • How does an Alarm.com dealer switch their central station to Uniguard Pro?
Inside the Alarm.com dealer portal you set the central-station receiver to Uniguard Pro on the accounts you want us to monitor — no firmware changes on the panel, no truck rolls. From that point on, every signal from those accounts routes to our operator queue instead of your previous station.
  • What does the hybrid Alarm.com + UniFi Protect setup look like?
Alarm.com handles your panel-side signals — opens, closes, alarm trips, supervisory. UniFi Protect handles AI-flagged video events from the same site — person-in-zone, line-cross, loitering. Both streams land in the same Uniguard Pro site record, on the same operator screen, with one timeline. When the panel trips, the operator already has the camera context. When the camera flags something suspicious, the operator already knows whether the panel is armed.
  • Are the signals between Alarm.com and Uniguard Pro encrypted?
Yes. Alarm.com pushes signals to our receivers over TLS, and we only accept TLS connections — plain-text DC-09 is rejected at the socket level. Per-account hex keys add a second layer of authentication on top of the TLS handshake.
  • What happens if your receiver goes down?
Our receivers run across redundant hosts behind Cloudflare. Alarm.com automatically retries signals against the secondary if the primary is briefly unreachable — its built-in retry logic handles the failover without operator intervention.
